Vergara (2018)

Marcelo Vergara is an emotionless man; anti-social and arrogant, someone who still alternates between his teenage years - bohemian, rocker, and anarchic- and his present self. Now nearing his 40th birthday, Vergara has a dream. A want that he can't seem to shake out of his scattered mind: to be a father. But his fantasy seems to move farther and farther away. Natalia, his girlfriend, has left him - he believes that all his lovers are only temporary and all victims of circumstance anyway. On top of everything else, the fertility tests he has been doing for a while all indicate that his chances of conceiving a little one are few. Set on proving the contrary, and loyal to his rebellious instincts, Vergara will try to become a father. Juan Pablo, his best- and only- friend, with whom he shares similar taste in music and who has recently become a father less than a year before, tries to talk him out of his plan. But Vergara feels trapped inside a ticking time bomb. He knows it is now or never.
