Warden Dr. Kempers is demoted to warder by the new justice minster, who appoints midget fellow utter bitch Fuchs, to exceed his heartless repressive policy. Manni actually thrives in the new orderly regime, which liberates him of choices or insecurity. Erdem and Alexander find solace in a rundown garden, where they dream from escape trough an old near-finished tunnel. Kempers finds out, by decides to oust his successor by proving her incompetence.
