Pobeditel (1976)
Civil War. Red Army commander Yakov Spiridonov escapes from White Guard captivity and finds shelter in one of the ruined villages in the enemy rear with a young teacher. Unable to break through to his own people, he, a former tsarist officer and holder of the St. George Cross, begins to conduct reconnaissance among the White Guards, forms a rebel detachment, and when the Red Army advances, receives the task from the command - hold the bridge until the main forces arrive.
