Sofia, 1890. In the past, the Major and the Prime Minister lived together in Bucharest, where they shared a lover. Presently, the Major conspires with Russia against the Prime Minister. He has attracted to his cause the Woman they were once in love with. In the ensuing political struggle and battle for the Woman, one of the men will lose his life.
