The Moth and the Star (1916)

Out of jail and in again is Stingaree's experience in the one day. He escapes by changing places with the crank prison reformer who comes to hear the tale of his life. After helping himself to a change of clothing Stingaree that evening attends a concert at which Ethel, his former sweetheart, sings, but his audacious daring results in his recapture and the closing scene finds him in the same position as the opening one.
