A Game of Chess (1909)
A young lady invites her friend to a quiet game of chess. The lover accepts, and we see him next sitting opposite the young lady, setting up the chess figures. His Move. A few moves are made. The young man takes out a cigarette. The young lady strikes a match, he holds her hand longer than necessary. Both Move. While they sit opposite each other while playing, they now move slowly the chairs in front of the table. He puts his arm around her waist, she leans towards him, and their lips join in a long kiss.
