
Vanda Soldanieri (1910)
Vanda is the daughter of Piero Giondonati, chief of the Guelph party. Vanda has married during the exile of her parents from Florence, Gianni Soldanieri, one of the chiefs of the Gimbellin party. When the Guelphs returned to Florence the father and brother of Vanda discover her marriage with their hereditary enemy, and they try to get Vanda to leave her husband, but without success. They then try treachery, and through a false letter to him they draw him away from his castle and kill him. Vanda finds the letter and knows its purpose. She goes in search of her husband and discovers the murder. She then gets her fiends together and they attack the palace of Giondonati, they are repelled, and Vanda, in despair, kills herself and dies in the presence of her father and brother.All Releases
