Robert Holmes is informed by his wife that the newspapers are printing an article regarding a pretty confidence woman, who swindles businessmen by claiming she is a stenographer across the hall and would like to get her salary check cashed. Holmes laughs. He laughs in another tune, however, when he gets stung himself that very day.
