The Capture of a Wild Cat (1913)

Taken in the wilds of Colorado, this picture shows the chase and capture, alive, of a very vicious and full grown wild cat. The picture opens with the discovery of an old settler that his chicken coop has again been the prey of a wild cat. The old man and his son put the dog on the trail and the chase begins. The bound corners the cat and a running fight ensues. The men now arrive with their lassos and get a rope around one leg of the cat. The cat leaps from the tree and becomes a fighting, struggling ball of fur. Finally, however, it is caught.
