The Toll of the Law (1916)

Big Steve robs the home of a young minister and returns home. His young blind sister and his mother greet him and he shows them the spoils. The next day Steve is arrested and "sent up." Some time later his mother dies and his little sister is adopted by the minister. When Steve gets out he looks in vain for his family. His next thought is to get revenge on the minister. One of his pals sees the minister and a girl enter a nearby drugstore one day. Steve decides to compromise his enemy and so get him into a saloon by means of a ruse. He then calls in the girl to see her "goody-goody" friend in the saloon. But to his surprise, the girl is his sister.
