Sophie's Homecoming (1915)
Slim receives a note from Sophie telling him that she will arrive on the five o'clock stagecoach the next morning, and for him to set his alarm clock so he will be sure to meet her. Mustang reads the note, and after Slim has gone to bed, substitutes another clock in Slim's room. He then gets up at five A.M. and meets Sophie, telling her that Slim said he wouldn't get up for the best girl in the world. Slim plans to get even, so that evening when Mustang prepares to call on Sophie, Slim puts some snuff in his handkerchief. All goes well until he pulls out his handkerchief, when they both start to sneeze. They cause such a commotion that Hiram Clutts is awakened and comes downstairs. Mustang is kicked out bodily.
