Brown's Summer Boarders (1915)
Close-fisted Sam Brown marries Edith, the schoolteacher of Baytown, and at once begins to worry about her "extravagance." At sight of the wicker porch set Sam nearly has a fit, then a bright idea strikes him. He will take in boarders and make all the improvements pay for themselves. Edith does not like the idea and works out a little scheme of her own. A few days later two young men, Will and Harry, apply for and secure board at Sam's home. They make themselves right at home and all go fishing, leaving Sam home alone and miserable, particularly at thought of the tender way the boys helped Edith into the boat. Matters get worse until Sam begins to think his wife is deliberately flirting. The third day the boys teach Edith to swim, and this proves the last straw. Sam wants to thrash the young men, but Edith stops him and calmly introduces him to her brothers Will and Harry and her uncle. All Releases
