Saved by Fire (1912)
A startling story of a clean strong young man who struggles to herd and operate a heavily encumbered piece of oil land, in spite of the 'pressure' brought to bear by a great corporation, and, the manipulations of an unscrupulous 'loan shark' who is in love with the oil man's fiancée. Curiously enough through the miscarriage of his enemies' tricked scheme, the good young man is saved through the burning of his oil tanks, by which they hoped to ruin him.
