A young retired captain, huntsman, lives in a hunting lodge on the outskirts of a protected forest. A German "money bag" comes to hunt in a small neighboring town with the regional governor. Hunting a wild boar is a serious and dangerous business that is further complicated by the fact that a particularly dangerous prisoner had just escaped from a prison located in this area.
