The Love Theft (1913)
"Old Tom," a clerk for many years in the employ of Mr. Frank Berresford, is very fond of his employer's little daughter, Grace, Grace presents her father with a birthday gift, a picture of herself in an expensive frame. "Old Tom" naturally becomes impressed with it, and while clearing up his employer's desk, absent-mindedly puts the picture in his pocket and takes it home. This act causes poor "Old Tom" so much trouble that everyone is happy when things are straightened out.
