Mr. Spriggs Buys a Dog (1913)
Mrs. Spriggs wanted a nice big dog. She gave Spriggs the clothesline to capture one, but with true housewife instinct, she demanded that he must not cut it. A maiden lady cried for her Nero, and Spriggs in the police station was accused of dog felony. It is needless to say there was no addition to the Spriggs family.
