Trixie and the Press Agent (1913)
Trixie Blossom, a popular actress, has an efficient press agent who wishes to secure some free publicity for the young woman. He therefore prepares an article, stating that she has been robbed of her jewels and then sets forth to effect the burglary himself. To his consternation he discovers that two real burglars have been there first. Nothing daunted, the press agent recovers the jewels, captures the burglars and then proceeds to capitalize on the affair.
