Outwitting Father (1912)

Mr. Armstrong is not impressed with his daughter Jennie's sweetheart, Dick, and orders that young man to keep away from his house. Passing Mr. Armstrong's barber shop the following day, Dick sees a sign hanging on the door reading: "Barber wanted." This gives Dick an idea. Securing a complete disguise he applies for the job, and is set to work. The ingenious scheme followed by the lovers in exchanging notes, and the situation where the eventual exposure takes place are well worked out.
