Vernon Howe Bailey's Sketchbook of Washington (1916)

The internationally famous beauties of our capital, repeatedly photographed, are here pictured more graphically than ever before in these motion drawings. They offer the best idea of what the seat of government is like from an architectural standpoint, attaining this result by perfect development of perspective. This split reel, picturing as it does the White House, the Capitol proper and the various department buildings, together with the numerous embassies, legations and such, is highly educative and is the next best thing to a trip there in its vivid description.
