Willie Wise and His Motor Boat (1911)
Willie, to eclipse a rival suitor whose sailboat has charmed the girl he adores, purchases a motor boat. He invites the girl, who gladly accepts. Willie has many trying adventures to make the motor move, and after testing his mechanical knowledge to its capacity, gives it up. Then a savior in the shape of a small boy, rows up and shows him how easy it is to start the motor. The boat gives a start, so much so that the girl falls overboard. Willie's rival is at hand, and rescues the girl, while Willie reaches land much contrary to his plans.
