Some Mother-in-Law (1911)

William Daley loved Elizabeth Diamond. Often he told her he would go through fire and water for her sake, or brave death in its most terrifying forms, but he could not stand her mother. Mrs. Diamond advised Elizabeth to marry him. Mrs. Diamond also sent her portrait to the happy pair. Oh, that picture! Young Diamond fell for the charms of a lady that he met one day and took her to lunch. She was really charming. Later he discovered that the lovely lady was none other than his dreaded mother-in-law, and that the picture was a joke.
