Scenting a Terrible Crime (1913)
Katrina decided to make some good old "kraut" as a surprise to her husband, "Frenchy." They went off for a month's vacation. Monsieur returned early. He issued forth from his apartment with a dull knife to sharpen. The smell of the seasoned "kraut" confronted the neighbors. The coroner, cops and undertaker arrived, but it took the German coroner to settle it.
