Tenochtitlán, 1519. Two shipwrecked Spaniards are captured by the Aztecs. Rodrigo falls for Tizcuitl, daughter of a royal court member. They befriend Emperor Moctezuma II, but Hernán Cortés arrives with his army. War is inevitable.
