The Dynamiters (1912)

A story of love and jealousy among the members of a survey party over a pretty mountain girl, forms the foundation of "The Dynamiters." The blowing up of a dynamite shack starts the excitement. The man that is responsible for the explosion manages for a time to place the blame on the shoulders of his rival, while he goes off and celebrates over the success of his plan. The rival, meantime, experiences great difficulty in keeping out of the clutches of the quickly-formed posse. He is aided on his way by his sweetheart, who manages to keep the posse engaged until her lover has a good start on them. After his exciting get-away, he manages to trace the job back to his former partner, and, after clearing himself in the eyes of his friends, he returns to find his sweetheart still holding the fort. She mistakes him for one of his late enemies, and gives him a hot reception. She, however, discovers her mistake in time and he is amply repaid for his close call.
