Jones' Jonah Day (1913)

Jones finds that he is becoming bald and his barber recommends that he have his hair clipped short. Unfortunately he is made an exact replica of an escaped convict. Mrs. Jones, going to visit her mother, leaves her husband a note, stating that he will find the silverware in the sideboard and plenty to eat in the pantry. Finding his wife is away, Jones goes fishing. He is confronted by the convict, who demands an exchange of clothes. Mr. Convict discovers the note and proceeds to take advantage of Mrs. Jones' instructions. After many adversities Jones succeeds in establishing his identity and the convict's vacation is suddenly ended.
