Sierra Master (1969)
An Italian journalist is arrested in Venezuela by the military, accused of being a revolutionary. The journalist, interviewed by the press, says he has no connection with the guerrilla organizations and is thrown into jail and subjected to psychological and physical violence. Then they are thrown into the same cell (a sort of pigsty), a fashion photographer and a guerrilla. The dialogues between the guerrilla and the journalist describe the revolutionary situation in Latin America, but it is more the moral force of the guerrilla who prints on screen the need for armed struggle (of peasants, workers, students ...) in countries oppressed by dictatorships, that the reflections of the intellectual, on the importance of the culture of dissension as an instrument of liberation.All Releases
