Estrellita; or The Invasion of the French Troops in Portugal (1910)
An advance guard of the French army crosses the frontier into Portugal, and is billeted at the farm of a noble. The latter decides that he will kill the soldiers in their sleep, and arms his soldiers to do the deed. The daughter of the noble, hearing the plot, wishes to save the officer in charge, and sends him a note to meet her. The meeting takes place, and the attack is made on the sleeping soldiers. The officer listens to his general, and retribution is swift.
