Les jocondes (1982)
A young provincial woman barely graduated from high school arrives in Paris and is assailed by the fact that she is alone. She encounters a Parisian woman slightly older than herself, and she clings to their friendship as though all the city were sinking around her. This closeness brings demands that most would find difficult, and the older woman is no exception.
