Ich liebe den Mann meiner Tochter (1995)
Two people meet in a subway. The mere sight of each other stir feelings of incomprehensible desire within them. Their hearts beat faster. It's love at first sight. But does this love have a future? Both are married to different people - she for many years to Stefan (Friedrich Von Thun), and he only recently to Hanna (Muriel Baumeister) . She, Julia (Gudrun Landgrebe), is a modern woman, a sculptor, in her mid-40s. He, Michael (Thomas Kretschmann), is a dynamic banker, young enough to be her son. Unknown to them both at that moment, he is in fact her daughter's new husband. Hanna, Julia's daughter, after a year-long stay in the USA, brings her new husband to Munich to introduce him to her parents. At Julia's exhibition later that day she crosses path with Michael once again. Sparks fly immediately. She wants him, he longs to touch her. But great shock follows when Julia and Michael are formally introduced to one another by Hanna. All Releases
