Unique historic-biographic film about the well-known Russian pathfinder Vitus Bering, full of exclusive historic facts and the fascinating details earlier never shined neither in the literature, nor in a cinema.1725. Under Peter's I decree Vitus Bering sends to expedition to find out, whether there is a passage between Chukotka and Alaska, whether Asia adjoins America. He could not learn, that his feat for ever will be embodied on cards: the Bering sea, the Bering strait, Bering island.
