Disperato addio (1955)
After an argument with her famous doctor husband, Luisa leaves the house and, not knowing where to go, takes refuge with Maurizio, her former suitor. He goes to the hotel so as not to embarrass her, but her husband does not believe in the innocence of that meeting and abandons Luisa. The woman goes back to work, gives birth to a child and after many troubles realizes that she is seriously ill. Desperate, she attempts suicide, but is saved with an operation by her ex-husband.
