Cavallina storna (1953)
Inspired by Giovanni Pascoli's poem. Ruggero (the father of the poet) is killed by a corrupted officer. His body is brought back home by a mare who, several years later, will reveal with its nitrite the guilty one, giving finally him what he deserve.
