The Passing of Pete (1916)

Pete lives with his Indian wife, Mona, but has fallen in love with Loresta of the dance hall. Bob, a young prospector, and his wife, Betty, live near Pete. Fete oversees Bob find a pocket of gold. Bob takes the gold home, but after he leaves Pete enters. Pete's wife follows and sees her husband steal the gold. After Pete obtains the gold he goes to Loresta and hands her the bag. Pete's wife tells the sheriff of her husband's theft, and the posse follows the desperado. After a desperate battle Pete is shot. His wife, Mona, finds a new home in Bob's family.
