Wanted, a Strong Hand (1913)
Annie is Mr. Bahr's motherless only child and he has petted and spoiled her. He decides to remarry and advertises for a better half. Mrs. Binks answers the ad in person He proposes to her and she accepts. She is a widow and has a son. Annie and her father were looking forward to meeting a little boy, but evidently, he has outreached and outgrown his age. Annie is too much for her stepmother to handle and determines to have a whole lot of fun with her boob of a stepbrother, but she has not reckoned with her host: the boy is more than a match for her. He exercises a strong hand over Annie and proves a great influence for good in her behalf. She grows to be a very congenial companion for her stepmother and a great comfort to her father.
