The Professor's Daughter (1913)

The professor's daughter has two suitors: Fred, whom she favors; and George, her father's choice. Many amusing encounters take place between the rivals, and Papa finally butts into an interesting tete-a-tete between his daughter and Fred--who loses his temper and gives the old gentleman a good shaking-up. Athletic George, however, appears on the scene and gives his rival a drubbing, winning favor with the old gentleman, and the admiration of the daughter, who decides that his brawny arm shall protect her through life.
