The Codfish Industry in Newfoundland (1912)

A fair conception of the magnitude of the codfish industry is given in a view of many ships engaged in the trade, as they lay at anchor on the placid waters of a snug little harbor. There are many other views of interest, especially the drying process, in which thousands of fish are spread on huge frames and allowed to dry in the sun, after which they are ready for transportation to various parts of the world.
