Songs About Love

Robert (25), a musician, meets Alicja (19), a waitress at a party for his father. Robert hears the young woman singing, and he offers to play music with her. Alicja lacks confidence as well as faith in her talent. Robert, who lives in his father's shadow, sees in Alicja's music a chance to come into his own. As they work together, they develop feelings for one another. However, Rober, under the pressure of success, gives in and lies to everyone that he is the author of the songs. He forces Alicja to sign a contract giving him the rights to them. Quickly, Robert realizes that he is unable to work any further on the songs without Alicja. He feels that he made a wrong decision, but it's already too late.
