Two years have passed in Saint Hubert. Life there is peaceful, perhaps too peaceful for Adelaide and Simon, who miss having friends their own age. But then Stanislas, the son of Bernard (the former president of the village hunters), arrives, returning to live in the countryside with his wife and two children. They are beautiful, young, and friendly. Their only flaw: they hunt with hounds! The peace of the village is about to be disrupted: new neighbors, new problems...
