The Duke and the Poet

The film tells the story of the period of the life of Prince Mihailo Obrenovic just before and during the assassination. The film also follows the final days of Serbian Prince Mihailo Obrenovic, a man in love who struggles with a sense of duty to his people while plotting a fatal conspiracy against him that will stop the liberation of the Balkan peoples. Serbia will once again find itself at a turning point
