André Rieu's 2022 Maastricht Concert: Happy Days Are Here Again!

On August 27, 2022, and after almost three years of a forced hiatus because the Covid19 pandemic, Master of Music Andre Rieu did a comeback concert in Vrijthof Plaza, in his natal Maastricht (Neterlands). With his Johann Strauss Orchestra and the special appearances of some opera singers of international fame as Dorona Alberti, Bèr Schillings, Micaela Oeste, Anna Reker, Donij van Doorn and the Platin Tenors (Gary Bennett, Thomas Greuel and Béla Mavrák), Rieu unleashes all the power of music and magic for giving to the public a live performance full of heartwarming feelings and good vibes. From Carmina Burana to Elvis Presley and from Vangelis to Johan Sebastian Bach, Rieu and his orchestra make a sound travel by the emotions to prove not only that music has no frontiers, but that music is the language of soul that lifts the spirit and that it brings together people above any difference.
