A View to the Nil
Ben Kingsley (Gandhi) was the impetus for seeing Suspect Zero, a gruesome picture billed as a thriller. It is less a story than a series of images involving a troubled FBI agent (Aaron Eckhart), his ex-girlfriend and partner (Carrie-Anne Moss) and a supernatural psychopath (played by Mr. Kingsley).

In Favor of Marshall Law
All gussied up and positively dripping with girl power, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement is simply delightful. The cast of loveable, quirky characters return with conviction and enough of the Garry Marshall touch to make this movie a big improvement on the first. Above all, it is sweet and pretty, while staying this side of saccharine.
All Fins, No Bite
There is nothing to like about Open Water, a 79-minute accident, except its brevity and that the filmmakers Chris Kentis and Laura Lau put themselves at risk in production. But even if real fins and fangs are enough to float your boat, stay home and watch the Discovery Channel.
Wag the Dogs
The silver screen's most popular pooch since Lassie comes home to Hollywood in Joe Camp's Benji Off the Leash. Featuring the best aspects of the original Benji franchise, impeccably trained animals and the benevolence of a child and his dog, Benji's return is something of a triumph.
Squealing Like a Pig
Without a Paddle is a member of the worst species of would-be comedies—those that are unfunny and gross and sweet all at the same time. And because it tries to be all things to all audience members, the movie fails at almost every turn with its only saving grace appearing late in the picture in the form of Burt Reynolds.
Benji Bites Back
In 1974, Joe Camp went to Hollywood to make a movie inspired by his dog. When his idea was rejected, Camp made the movie on his own. The picture, Benji, became one of the top grossers of the year, packing theaters with kids and adult audiences alike and spawning four more Benji movies.
