Final Oscar® Polls Close Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Beverly Hills, CA—Voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences must return their completed final Oscar ballots to PricewaterhouseCoopers by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22. Ballots received after the 5 p.m. deadline are ineligible.
Monday, February 21, is a postal holiday and there will be no mail delivery that day.
The final ballots were mailed to the 5,808 voting members on February 2.
PricewaterhouseCoopers will tabulate the results and place the winners' names in sealed foil-lined envelopes. The firm's partners, Greg Garrison, Brad Oltmanns and Rick Rosas, will be the only people who will know the results prior to the envelopes being opened on Oscar Night®, Sunday, February 27.
Academy Awards® for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be televised live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood by the ABC Television Network at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST, beginning with a half-hour arrival segment. Information about the 77th Academy Awards can be accessed on the World Wide Web at www.oscar.com.
