We've cleaned up the navigation in this section and broken the yearly data into three distinct views: Domestic, Opening Weekends and Worldwide box office by year. Click on the tab at the top of the page to select which yearly index you wish to view (Domestic, Open Weekends or Worldwide). Click on the year on the index chart to view the specific breakdown for that year.

WORLDWIDE is a new chart and allows you to see the worldwide breakdown of top performing movies in a given year. A movie is categorized in the year it was released domestically.
OPENING WEEKENDS allows you to see the top opening weekends (domestic) for a given year (wide releases only). A movie is categorized in the year it was released wide (600+ theaters). Premier Pass users can see all wide releases back to 1982 and sort the chart by any column header, all others see top 10.
DOMESTIC remains unchanged. Premier Pass users see all movies tracking in this section and can sort the chart by any column header.
