The Similar Movies feature (found on select movie pages) has been updated for Premier Pass members with two additional charts:

• Wide Opening Weekends: compare wide opening weekend grosses.

• Second Weekend Drops: compare second weekend drops.

These are accessed from a dropdown navigation bar on the Similar Movies page. Premier Pass members can also sort these charts by any column header and adjust them for ticket price inflation.

Similar Movies are added every week to the movie pages of new wide releases. They represent comparable movies in terms of audience appeal, genre, tone, timeframe and/or release pattern. They indicate how a movie performs in its own playing field and aid in predicting box office.
