COMPARISONS: Country star Kenny Chesney enjoys a career best week of sales, handily topping the 30,000 start of his last album, 1999's "Everywhere We Go," and the 85,000 bow of his 2000 "Greatest Hits" (which sold 103,000 units in its peak week and sits at No. 101 on this week's chart). The Episode II soundtrack fell far short of the 173,000 first week sales of 1999's Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Ex-Goodie Mob rapper Cee-Lo's solo debut came in lower than the 92,000 start of his former group's last album, 1999's "World Party." Wilco's last album, 1999's "Summerteeth," kicked off with 19,000 and has sold 166,000 copies to date. Meanwhile, Elvis Costello saw his highest debut ever with "When I Was Cruel" and his highest chart position since "Get Happy!" hit No. 11 in 1980. His last album, the Burt Bacharach collaboration "Painted from Memory" bowed at No. 78 on sales of 20,000.
Platinum = Certification of one million units shipped. Gold =500,000 units shipped.
