COMPARISON: Alanis Morissette's last album, 1998's "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie," sold 469,000 copies in its first week en route to total sales of 2.5 million. Her debut album, "Jagged Little Pill," is one of the 15 best-selling albums of all time with 13.9 million units moved. "Fever" is only Kylie Minogue's second album to chart in the U.S. after her "Locomotion"-propelled "Kylie" peaked at No. 53 in 1989 and went on to be certified gold (500,000 units shipped). "Living Proof" marks Cher's highest bow in her 37 years in the biz. Her last album, 1998's "Believe," started at No. 139 on sales of just 12,000, but fueled by its smash hit title track, it went on to sell 3.4 million copies.

GRAMMY BOOSTS: The O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack enjoyed a 259% boost over its 58,325 take last week thanks to its multiple wins at the Grammys. Alicia Keys' disc was up 115%, and U2 got a 125% bump-up. Bob Dylan, who performed and won for best contemporary folk album, saw sales for "Love and Theft" double to 68,000. India.Arie, who performed but went home empty-handed despite having the most nominations, nonetheless saw sales of her album "Accoustic Soul" double this week to 67,000.
