COMPARISON: Jackson's last album "When Somebody Loves You" from 2000 entered the chart at No. 15 on sales of 87,000 units, making "Drive" a distinct improvement for the country veteran. His previous first-week best was 1995's "The Greatest Hits Collection," which bowed to 318,000.
OTHER DEBUT: Willie Nelson's "The Great Divide" kicked off at No. 43 with 23,000 copies scanned, while the Frank Sinatra compilation "Greatest Love Songs" starts with 16,000 at No. 76.
